We are proud to release a micro lot from the Nano Genji washing station for the fifth year that we’ve done so. It’s been exciting for our team to watch the continued growth and excellence of the Nano Genji washing station from year to year. The community served by the two washing stations is made up of 630 small producers.
Ethiopia is a beloved coffee origin due to the vast array of flavors and aromas their coffees produce. The Oromia region in particular is widely known for its supreme quality. This lot was mechanically washed then soaked for 12 hours. The excellence of this coffee is a testament to the work of a cooperative that pays its members high premiums. They relentlessly focus on quality, from picking to processing.
Our team looks forward to tasting lots from the Nano Genji station every year, and we think this year’s selection of lot 8 will showcase the excellent quality of this growing region. We taste notes of nectarine, white tea, and chardonnay.
