Description
Contains, all USDA Certified Organic - Green Split Peas, Yellow Split Peas, Navy Beans, Green Lentils, Short Grain Brown Rice, Red Kidney Beans, Lima Beans, Decorticated Red Lentils and Pearled Barley. Delicious and colorful as is or add what you please. Cooking Instructions; Use 2 cups Organic Hearty Bean Soup Mix. In a 2-3 quart pot add to 1 1/2 cups water. Bring to boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let soak for 1 hour. Drain and add 4 cups water and bring to boil. Cover and reduce to simmer for approx. 2 hours until the beans are tender but firm. Uncover and increase heat to boil gently for about 45-60 minutes. Ready to add seasonings or other enhancements / serve.
Approx. 2 1/4 cups per pound.
