Delicious and colorful as is or add what you please. Cooking Instructions; Use 2 cups Organic Hearty Bean Soup Mix. In a 2-3 quart pot add to 1 1/2 cups water. Bring to boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let soak for 1 hour. Drain and add 4 cups water and bring to boil. Cover and reduce to simmer for approx. 2 hours until the beans are tender but firm. Uncover and increase heat to boil gently for about 45-60 minutes. Ready to add seasonings or other enhancements / serve. Approx. 2 1/4 cups per pound.
